A local program has been helping high school students develop their entrepreneurial skills. Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) is an educational program that teaches students how to think like entrepreneurs and act like business owners.

Recent graduates of the program have gone on to open storefront and online businesses and work in real estate investment, management, and youth mentor programs.

NFTE aims to combat youth unemployment and encourage students to take control of their futures.
